Supporting local families in times of need is the mission of the Skylands Rotary Club.

And, to accomplish this selfless mission the Skylands Rotary Club members helped launch the Netcong Emergency Food Bank in 2020. The Pantry has been operating from donated space at the Netcong Borough Hall for over 1 year. Volunteer and financial contributions made by the Skylands Rotary have helped the Food Bank operate.

Today, as the demand for food continues to grow forcing the food bank to expand its operations to a large storage shed which has been placed immediately next to the Netcong Borough Hall. The Skylands Rotary Club foundation provided a grant fund part of this storage shed's costs.

Skylands Rotarian Joe Nametko, who is also the Mayor of Netcong, is leading the Food Bank. He's featured in the photos found in this article.

The food bank is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm.

Monetary donations and non-perishable food items are accepted during these hours. Monetary donations can also be mailed to Skylands Rotary Foundation, Post Office Box 444, Netcong, New Jersey 07857.
